Kim Kardashian Speaks Out On Gun Control After Orlando Shooting

"Nothing has changed. People continue to senselessly die."

Early Sunday morning, Omar Mateen opened fire in a Florida LGBT nightclub, killing 49 people. The attack has been deemed the deadliest mass shooting in American history, and a vicious hate crime.

After it was revealed that Mateen had been investigated twice by the F.B.I. due to possible links to terrorism prior to the shooting, many are wondering how he was able to legally purchase guns - Kim Kardashian included.

In the wake of the tragedy, Kim has spoken out via Twitter in favor of stricter gun laws.

Kim's tweets are echoing what many of us are thinking-- including the President of the United States. Just two weeks before the tragedy, President Barack Obama explained precisely the same thing:

"I just came from a meeting today in the Situation Room in which I’ve got people who we know have been on ISIL websites, living here in the United States, U.S. citizens, and we’re allowed to put them on the no-fly list when it comes to airlines, but because of the National Rifle Association, I cannot prohibit those people from buying a gun," President Obama said. "This is somebody who is a known ISIL sympathizer. And if he wants to walk into a gun store or a gun show right now and buy as many weapons and ammo as he can, nothing is prohibiting him from doing that, even though the FBI knows who that person is."

When will enough be enough?
