Kim Kardashian has shared her entire life on TV so it's not exactly surprising that she's sharing some of the gory details of the complications of her last pregnancy to magazines. US Magazine is now reporting that Kim is nervous about the upcoming birth of the second West scion.
“With the issues I had last time, my risk of having preeclampsia and placenta accreta are increased and there's not a whole lot I can do to prevent it," she said. "...My anxiety is a little high leading up to my delivery." Yikes!
But it gets scarier: “[During my last pregnancy,] my doctor had to stick his entire arm in me and detach the placenta with his hand, scraping it away from my uterus with his fingernails. How disgusting and painful!!! My mom was crying; she had never seen anything like this before,” said Kardashian, as if describing an actual nightmare. “My delivery was fairly easy, but then going through that — it was the most painful experience of my life! They gave me a second epidural but we were racing against time, so I just had to deal.”
Lastly, Kim expressed concern about the future of her uterus, noting that it's possible that she will have to have a hysterectomy following the birth. "Luckily my doctor doesn't think this will happen,” she concluded.
