Kylie Jenner Settles Potential Lawsuit From Makeup Artist With Instagram Likes

Is this the new ways of the rich and famous?

By Sharon Lynn Pruitt

Kylie Jenner has ample reason to celebrate these days — the makeup maven just narrowly avoided serious legal trouble.

As we previously reported, makeup artist Vlada Haggerty was preparing to sue Kylie for copying her photos and using her ideas to promote Kylie Cosmetics. It's not easy to prove that another brand is getting "inspiration" from someone else, but when compared side-by-side, there's definitely an undeniable similary between Haggerty's work and Kylie's ad photos.

Fortunately for Kylie, the two were seemingly able to settle the dispute without going to court, TMZ reports. It's unclear what official agreement they came to, but Kylie has begun shouting out Haggerty's work on her Instagram. Did Kylie make some type of agreement to promote Haggerty's work to her 84 million followers, or is this her version of giving credit where it's due, after the fact?

Both parties have been tight-lipped about the details, but you can check out Kylie's posts below.
