Kyrie Irving Said He's "Not A Fan" Of 'Get Out' And The Internet Roasted Him

How did he not see this coming?

Get Out is pretty much the horror movie of the moment. With its focus on social commentary, not to mention all the great memes and challenges it's spawned, the film's popularity comes as no surprise, really. But one person who isn't a fan of the movie? NBA star Kyrie Irving.

Irving shared his opinion on the film during a recent interview for the podcast Road Trippin', Bossip reports.

"I wasn't a particularly great fan of 'Get Out,' I wasn't," Irving said. "And I will let you guys go see it."

Lebron James, who was also present for the interview, interjected, adding, "But you guys also know that Kyrie [inaudible] goes against the grain at all times and he has his own mind [because] Kyrie thinks so deep."

Could it be that James foresaw that the internet would have a field day with Irving's comments? The Twitterverse wasted no time in speculating as to why Irving isn't a fan of the film, and brought up that 'No Black Girls Allowed' yacht party debacle from last year while they were at it.
