It looks like Lil Wayne might be heading for a bit of legal trouble.
A bouncer at an L.A. nightclub has filed a battery report with the LAPD, TMZ reports, claiming that Lil Wayne punched him in the face. As the bouncer tells it, he was working the door at a BET Awards afterparty hosted by Wayne and 2 Chainz at Hyde nightclub. When a few members of Weezy's crew weren't allowed in, things got heated between Wayne and the bouncer, and that's when he says Wayne punched him in the face.
The bouncer went to the hospital, and later talked with the authorities, who are currently investigating. If convicted, the rapper could be charged with misdemeanor battery.
Meanwhile, TMZ's sources say that Wayne is denying that any such thing occurred, and says that the bouncer didn't even work the door, but was instead stationed in the VIP section all night. The only run-in occurred when the bouncer mistakenly grabbed Wayne's arm, but apologized once he realized who he was. In either case, it's extremely unlikely that Wayne will be serving any jail time, so don't break out your "Free Weezy" shirts just yet.
