Politicians want YOUR vote and are willing to embarrass themselves for it. Presidential hopeful Dr. Ben Carson tries to prove that he speaks the language of young people by doing—what else—dropping a rap song. The track, called “Freedom,” is aimed at getting young, cool voters in urban markets like Detroit, Houston, Atlanta and Miami.
Carson uses an aspiring rapper named “Aspiring Mogul” to drop some terrible rhymes (Did you know “Carson” rhymes with “awesome”?) along with portions of his own speech. "America became a great nation early on not because it was flooded with politicians but because it was flooded with people who understood the value of personal responsibility, hard work, innovation and that’s what will get us on the right track now,” Carson says.
From the reaction on Twitter, “Freedom” is not making onto anyone’s year-end playlists.
