As a genre of music, hip hop tends to be pretty polarizing. You either love it or you hate it, and although it seemed, for a while, like Miley Cyrus was very much a fan of hip hop, a recent interview with Billboard shows that she's had a change of heart.

In a surprising turn of events, Cyrus revealed her plan to reinvent herself with new music and return to her country roots. Hip hop doesn't seem to be her thing anymore, though she is a fan of Kendrick Lamar's new song," Humble."

"I love that because it's not 'Come sit on my d*ck, suck on my c*ck.' I can't listen to that anymore," she explained. "That's what pushed me out of the hip hop scene a little. It was too much 'Lamborghini, got my Rolex, got a girl on my c*ck' — I am so not that."

While there's always a discussion to be had when it comes to misogyny within the hip hop scene, the issue that most people are having is that Cyrus is exhibiting classic culture vulture behavior — trying out other cultures for profit and social gain, only to discard it later, much like a costume.

Naturally, Twitter went in. Take a look at some of the responses below.
