Misty Copeland is pretty much winning at life. Not only did she make history last year by becoming the first African American promoted to principal dancer at the American Ballet Theatre, but her autobiography, Life in Motion: An Unlikely Ballerina, is slated to get the biopic treatment soon.
Most people would consider that cause enough to take a vacation or two, but Misty has been staying on her grind, and she just shared her latest project via Instagram: she's linking up with Disney.
The superstar ballerina announced that she's joined the film cast of Disney's live-action Nutcracker retelling, The Nutcracker and the Four Realms. According to Variety, Copeland will play the lead ballerina, which sounds like a perfect fit.
Misty posted a pic of the script on Instagram, and hinted that there's more to come.
This should be exciting!
