Nick Cannon's $100K Rap Battle Challenge Has Been Accepted By An Actual Rapper

Hint: he's Canadian, but it's not Drake.

Nick Cannon is putting his money where his mouth is. The actor and TV personality has issued an open challenge of $100,000 to anyone willing to battle him in rapping during the BET Awards.

"Yo tell your favorite rapper I got a 100k to battle them June 25th at the BET EXPERIENCE! #WildStyle Who should I get? These rappers scared!" he tweeted. "I'm gonna be honest with y'all, I've talked to a lot of your favorite rappers behind closed doors and they ALL SCARED! LOL 100k Rap Battle!"

According to Hip Hop DX, several rappers have shown interest, including Bow Wow and battle rapper Murda Mook, but the Canadian rapper Corey Charron has actually ponied up the funds. "I think he's serious," Charron told HipHopDX. "I actually like Nick Cannon and what he's doing for battle rappers, but he put out a challenge and I'm hungry and have money."

He has only two conditions for the battle: The winner must be chosen by five judges that both rappers agree on beforehand, and if Charron wins, Cannon has to sign him to be a cast-member in the next season of Wild 'N Out.

Pretty much sounds like a win-win situation for an experienced battle rapper, am I right?
