Superstar faces backlash for not speaking up for Pulse victims.

Nicki Minaj spoke out with a message of love for the people of London, following yesterday's deadly attack. "May God protect everyone in London. Hate hearing this sad news. Sending my condolences to the victims' families," she tweeted. A lovely message—which many appreciated—but some fans took offense, wondering why Nicki never publicly showed love about another crime: the 2016 attack at Orlando's Pulse nightclub.

As Perez Hilton reports, fans took to Twitter to ask Nicki Minaj about her silence around the Pulse nightclub crime, specifically one that targeted the gay community.

One fan pointed out that just because Nicki didn't tweet love for Orlando, does mean that she doesn't care. Another chimed in to say that she has a significant fan base in the gay community and therefore, should have been more vocal.

Are fans are right for criticizing Nicki or is their expectation for her involvement too much?
