O.J. Simpson Responds To Found Knife: "I'm Not That Stupid"

He burst into laughter, too.

Is O.J. Simpson worried about cops finding the murder weapon in his alleged 1994 murders? The former football star apparently "burst into loud, uncontrollable laughter" when he heard the breaking news, reports Daily Mail Online.

'It's complete bulls**t. But this is all they got. It's pathetic, really pathetic," he told a source. "Let me tell ya'll something, I'm not that stupid, I got on a plane that night going to Chicago, that's all I'm gonna say."

Police are investigating the knife, which was discovered at O.J.'s former home, as the possible weapon they believe he used to murder ex-wife Nicole Brown-Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman in 1994. The murder weapon was never found.

The case--and acquittal--of O.J. Simpson was dubbed the "trial of the century" when it happened. There has been a renewed interest following the debut of the television show The People vs. O.J. Simpson.
