In a new emotional video, Paris Jackson is opening up about how cyberbullying has taken its toll on her. In a video she's since deleted from Instagram, a tearful Jackson bares her soul, even talking about her 2013 suicide attempt and opening up about the devastating effects cyberbullying has had on her.
"I don't understand how there can be so much hatred in the world right now," Jackson said. "I've tried sticking up for myself. I've tried the whole blocking the haters thing, not reading the comments. I've tried a lot of things. Ignoring it. But it's hard."
"When I was 14 I got so much hatred that I tried to kill myself and I took, like, a two-year break from social media and then people asked me to come back, to make my Instagram public again, so I did," Jackson said later. "And nothing changed. I'm just tired of it. I'm just really, really tired. And, I mean, I know I'm not the only one."
Jackson then brought up Justin Bieber and the hate his new flame, Sofia Richie, receives on social media. It got so bad that Justin even threatened to delete his Instagram, and actually followed through on it (for about a week, anyway).
"Justin Bieber went into a downward spiral because everybody that he dates gets so much hate," Jackson said. "I have known his girlfriend, Sofia, since I was like 12 or 13. She's one of the sweetest girls in the world and people are telling her to kill herself. I mean, we're human beings, man. We got hearts and brains and feelings, and when you say damaging things like that to people, it f***s 'em up."
