Hedonistic pop-star heorine Kesha isn't letting her legal stalemate with allegedly abusive producer Dr. Luke keep her away from performing. Despite not being legally allowed to create or singing new music, Kesha is now set to tour alongside EDM dudebro supreme Diplo this summer as part of his Mad Decent Block Party Tour.
The news comes by way of Kesha's twitter account, which shared the lineup for the nationwide dance party:
Even though we are excited about the imminent return of Our Lady of Glitter and Whiskey Mouthwash, Kesha's new pal Diplo doesn't exactly have the best track record of dealing with women in the music industry. Amongst other things, Diplo has been seen spouting misogynistic hate at female artists over twitter. Let's hope aligning himself with an actual feminist hero like Kesha will teach him a lesson or two.
Until then, Kesha isn't staying quiet. Just this weekend America's Favorite Blood Orgy Enthusiast appeared at the Humane Society Gala and performed a moving cover of Lady Gaga's Oscar nominated song, 'Til It Happens To You.'
Kesha also shared an emotional update about the song over Instagram:
The moral of the story is: nothing can keep a good Kesha down.
