Organizers and anticipated festival-goes of the first Lollapalooza festival in Colombia just got two major surprises. The first was that Rihanna is the secret headlining artist (hidden under "?????" on the flyer); the second, that the event is now completely cancelled because Rihanna is no longer the headlining artist. She reportedly cancelled due to the Zika virus scare.

Bogota's local news publication, La Tercerarevealed Rihanna as the headliner when the news dropped. Lollapalooza organizers remained hush-hush about her identity, even in the formal press release.

"After the cancellation of the headline artist...and facing major difficulties in finding a suitable replacement, festival organizers have been forced to cancel the inaugural Lollapalooza Colombia," they said in a translated statement from Spanish.

"The organizers wish to express their deep appreciation to all the fans who supported the festival since day one, as well as the sponsors and the media partners," it continued.

While Rihanna's camp has yet to respond, and Lollapalooza didn't name the Zika scare as the cause, Colombia's RCN Radio asserted that it was major health concerns that prompted the fallout.

The Zika virus has caused concerns worldwide for both locals and travelers around outbreak areas, particularly South America. The Olympics in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) has received the greatest cause for health concerns of athletes and fans. Still, while the CDC has informed everyone to be careful, the bulk of the concern is rested on pregnant women and those who may become pregnant, due to the condition microcephaly that can dramatically affect the development of the baby.

The festival is offering a full refund for the event. Other headliners included Lana Del Rey, Disclosure, The Chainsmokers, and Wiz KhalifaSee the full line-up below, and feel sad.
