Is Rihanna heading to court?

According to The New York Post, Kiss Nail Products believes Rihanna is stealing their trademark. The nail product company has been using the word "Kiss" to promote their line of products for over 20 years, but after the release of Rihanna's latest perfume earlier this year — "Kiss by Rihanna" — Rihanna's camp began using the hashtag #kiss to promote the singer's new fragrance on social media. Kiss Nail believes this constitutes an infringement on their trademark and reached out to Rihanna's Roraj Trade LLC to request that they stop using the word, but the company reportedly ignored them.

According to The Post's sources, Kiss Nail Products is now seeking unspecified damages from Roraj Trade, and they want Rihanna to discontinue selling the fragrance. Rihanna, meanwhile, has yet to comment publicly on the matter.
