Have you ever wondered what it's like to be Rihanna? She's one of the most iconic pop stars of her generation, adored by millions, living the kind of lavish life most of us can only dream about. But what's it really like to be Robyn Rihanna Fenty? A new documentary about the Barbadian singer's life will soon answer that very question.
According to Deadline, director Peter Berg - who directed Rihanna during her first film role in Battleship - will be at the helm of the Riri documentary. The theatrical feature documentary is being described as an "unfiltered look into Rihanna's life and how she's ascended to become a global icon," and will be "much more a character study than a music film." The Rihanna doc will be one of his first projects taken on by Berg's new production company, Film 45, which will focus on "non-scripted" projects.
At the present time, no official release date has been set.
