Bobbi Kristina Brown passed away yesterday. She was only 22 years old. The daughter of superstar Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, her dream was to become an artist like her parents. In some ways, Bobbi Kristina’s life and death mirrored her own mother’s. She reportedly had substance abuse issues and was found face down and unresponsive in her bathtub – chillingly, just like her mother.
Bobbi Kristina was placed in a medically-induced coma at the hospital and later transferred to a hospice facility in June, where she ultimately passed away. In a statement to People magazine, her family said: “Bobbi Kristina Brown passed away July, 26 2015, surrounded by her family. She is finally at peace in the arms of God. We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months." Fans and celebrities have taken to social media to remember Bobbi Kristina. R.I.P.
