As if Ronda Rousey wasn't breaking enough barriers: she's now the the first female ever to land the cover of Men's Fitness Australia. The November issue will feature the awesome cover line "How Ronda Rousey Will Make You Tougher." Men's Fitness Australia also posted two Q&A videos with Ronda on their Facebook page.
Pretty epic, right? Not to some people. The reveal was met with plenty of haters on the Men's Fitness Facebook page "Shouldn't men be on men's fitness?" wrote one commenter. "If you going to pander to men and put a women on Men's Fitness Magazine at least go with a hotter chick," said another. And, of course, there were rude comments about Ronda's gender: "Haha yeah seems fitting she is on 'men's' fitness." Still, there were plenty of people in support of Ronda making history yet again: "What an amazing role model & athlete! Here's to all the young girls looking up to this one and smashing through the male-esq boundaries. First woman ever to grace the cover! Nice!"
It's not unprecedented for women to be featured on the cover of men's health and fitness mags. U.S. Men's Fitness have had Carmen Electra and Stacy Keibler, of all people, on their covers in the past.
Ronda isn't sweating the nay-sayers, though. And why should she? As the undefeated UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion, she's been having the best year ever. Stay mad, haters. Everyone else can check out a preview of Ronda's cover, which she shared on Insta, below.
