A couple of would-be burglars were in for quite the surprise when they recently targeted the home of Shaunie O’Neal, the ex-wife of NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal.
The 43-year-old producer and mother of five took to Instagram on Tuesday to share security camera footage of two unidentified men seemingly trying to break into her home—and running away after she addresses them directly over her security system’s speakers.
“What are you doing?” O’Neal can be heard asking in the short clip. “You’re on camera. Smile, b*tch.”
The first man immediately turns and runs from the home. The second one soon follows, as O’Neal is heard saying off camera, “Yeah, I see you too. I see you too.”
O’Neal explained in the post’s caption that her ex made sure her home was equipped with Ring home security cameras (Shaq is a spokesman for the brand). “Listen did y’all forget @Shaq is partners with @ring and made sure the kids and I had cameras everywhere,” she wrote, adding the hashtags “igotudummy,” “smileb*tch,” “ihateathief,” and “weonyoa**.”
O’Neal isn’t the only celebrity who seems ready and willing to take the safety of their home into their own hands. Rapper The Game also posted a surveillance video of would-be burglars in June, and in a lengthy Instagram caption, threatened to kill the men if they tried it again.
“If & when you come back ‘I’M KILLING ALL THREE OF YOU N*GGAS ON SIGHT’ !!!” he wrote. “So if you wanna lose your life over some Xbox’s & A few TV’s.... by all means, pull up & hop that gate again...”
