The feud between Soulja Boy and Chris Brown, despite near incidents of street violence, has seemed overall like a ridiculous beef that would turn into a money grabbing spectacle. Now the money-grabbing is getting way more serious. TMZ reports that Soulja Boy’s house got robbed on Tuesday night.
This incident is not definitively connected to their upcoming match in the ring, but it looks mighty suspicious. The thief busted down the door of Soulja’s home in the Hollywood Hills and stole $10,000 in cash and $12,000 in jewelry. Good lord, Soulja, you ever heard of a bank?!
The house is reportedly filled with security cameras, so the authorities have a clip of the robber’s face. TMZ has reported that Soulja’s fight promoter Wack 100 (also known as The Game's manager) has contradicted Floyd Mayweather's assertions that things were moving forward into the ring, explaining he doesn't really know what's going on behind the scenes. Wack 100 has said explicitly that the fight is being controlled by the Piru Bloods, a West Coast gang that both rappers claim to be members of, and not really something Mayweather is involved in.
Welp, it sounds like this whole thing has escalated from ridiculous nonsense to potentially dangerous nonsense. Take it to Dubai and put it to bed, guys.
