St. Vincent Invented A Guitar With Room For Boobs

Boob-having musicians are eternally grateful.

By Sharon Lynn Pruitt

As a person with boobs -- have you ever tried playing a guitar? It's not impossible, but it sure as hell could be a lot more comfortable than it is. Thankfully, Annie Clark - better known as St. Vincent - understands the struggles of boob-having rockers everywhere. The days of slouching awkwardly and smushing your guitar into the front of your body are over!

Annie Clark teamed up with Ernie Ball to create a slimmer guitar, one that weighs only seven pounds and is designed to accommodate the female form.

"For me a guitar that is not too heavy is really important because I'm not a very big person," Clark told GuitarWorld magazine. "I can't even play a Sixties Strat or Seventies Les Paul. I would need to travel with a chiropractor on tour in order to play those guitars."

I feel you, Annie. See the St. Vincent Signature Ernie Ball Music Man Guitar in action below.
