Does Stacey Dash ever take a break from putting her foot in her mouth?
In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Dash sounded off on the controversial laws dictating which public bathrooms transgender people are allowed to use.
"OK, then go in the bushes. I don't know what to tell you, but I'm not gonna put my child's life at risk because you want to change a law," Dash continued. "So that you can be comfortable with your beliefs - which means I have to change my beliefs and my rights? No."
If only she had stopped there... But according to Dash, the trans rights movement "infringes upon [her] rights too much."
"It's tyranny by the minority. Why do I have to suffer because you can't decide what you wanna be that day?" Dash continued, adding that being transgender is a choice. "It's your body! So, it's your decision, right? We all make choices."
Wow. I'm willing to bet there have been literally zero cases of children being assaulted by transgender individuals while using the bathroom; meanwhile, the amount of violence perpetrated against trans individuals - especially transgender women of color - continues to rise. Basically: put a sock in it, Stacey.
