The two stars are currently shooting Fast 8 (the 8th Fast and Furious film), and drama popped off when The Rock called out his male co-stars on Instagram yesterday for being unprofessional.
"My female co-stars are always amazing and I love 'em. My male co-stars however are a different story," he wrote. "Some conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals, while others don't. The ones that don't are too chicken sh*t to do anything about it anyway. Candy asses."
The Rock has plenty of male co-stars in Fast 8 - Vin Diesel, Jason Statham, Kurt Russell, Tyrese, Ludacris, and Scott Eastwood, to name a few - so no one knew for sure who the wrestler was ranting about. According to TMZ, The Rock being so public with this drama a week before filming ends - and not even being specific about who he was talking about - majorly pissed off the rest of the crew.
Then Tyrese chimed in to let people know that whoever The Rock was talking about, it wasn't him. He posted and later deleted a video of the wrestler/actor singing to his daughter, along with a lengthy caption.
"Let me calm you guys all the way down," he wrote. "I don't know WHO he has a problem [with] and I don't have any details of WHAT those problems are - as a matter of fact if I DID know I would tell you s**t!!!"
"Why are you guys so impressionable?" he continued. "A man wouldn't be singing from his heart and soul to another man's little angel if he had a problem with her dad."
Well, it wasn't long before the mystery was solved. TMZ has learned that it's Vin Diesel who's gotten under The Rock's skin, partly because the wrestler isn't happy with some of the decisions Diesel's made as a producer of the film.
The two A-listers had to have a meeting earlier today to squash the beef between them because apparently tensions were running so high on set that it was impossible to get anything done. It's unclear if Dwayne and Vin have actually settled anything, though. It looks like we'll just have to wait and see if any more shade-filled rants show up on their Instagram pages.
