Toronto Raptors Banned Meek Mill's Music From The Locker Room

They're clearly #TeamDrake.

The Toronto Raptors' locker room is a Meek-free zone. The social media rap beef that blew up everyone's timelines last summer may be long over, but that doesn't mean the Toronto basketball team is going to be blasting Meek Mill during warm-ups any time soon.

During an interview with Complex UK, players Patrick Patterson and James Johnson were asked how much of an impact Drake - Toronto native and team ambassador for the Raptors since 2013 - has on public perception of the team. While they hope the team's popularity will grow thanks to Drake's involvement, they're #TeamDrake regardless - especially when it comes to choosing sides between the 6 God and Meek Mill. They won't even play Meek's music in the locker room.

“Oh yeah, Meek Mill has been banned for a long time,” Patterson said. “No one plays Meek Mill.”

And the rivalry continues.
