Melissa McCarthy went on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon to promote her new movie The Boss, and ended up proving her fictional title to be true to real life.
In Fallon fashion, the two engaged in an epic Lip Sync Battle. Things started off to a fun and light start with Jimmy performing the classic Melanie's "Brand New Key," dance moves and all. But no one expected what happened next.
Melissa McCarthy, after a light taunting, placed a black hat on her head and stood center stage. Then, "X Gon' Give It To Ya" by DMX came on. And here's the thing: she knew every. single. word and channeled her inner hip-hop diva. It was the single greatest thing that may have ever happened during the entire show.
Fallon's follow-up with Zayn's "Pillowtalk" was equally entertaining, complete with an actual pillow and a fan shoutout. To close it out, Melissa "obviously" went to the classic Pocahontas soundtrack, "Colors of the Wind," with assistance from a Beyonce fan, fake leaves, and glitter. How does one even begin to top this? I'll give it a try this weekend.
