Here's a story that's guaranteed to put a smile on your face: as part of Pantene's "Strong Is Beautiful" campaign, the company got together a group of NFL players and recorded their attempts to style their daughters' hair. The resulting "DadDo" tutorials are the cutest thing you'll see today, and even though the videos are going viral mostly because of the aww-factor, Pantene has a bigger goal in mind.
"Research shows that quality time spent with dads is key in raising daughters who are more self-confident, self-reliant and more successful in school and in their careers," Pantene said in a press release.
Their new campaign is all about supporting daddy-daughter time, and I am so here for it. It should be a lot more common than it is for men to do their daughters' hair. It's a great bonding experience that shouldn't be designated to only one parent, simply because of gender. So to all the dads out there - it's never too late to learn how to create a flawless puff. And if you're a little lost, just steal a few pointers from DeAngelo Williams of the Pittsburgh Steelers. (Pro-tip: a tiara makes everything better.)
