Last year, Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from long-time husband Brad Pitt, and things quickly got messy. There were federal investigations about that infamous incident on a plane, in which Jolie reportedly accused Brad of hitting their 15-year-old adopted son, Maddox. It's the same incident that reportedly led to their split. Pitt has since been cleared of all wrongdoing by the FBI, but inquiring minds are still about- including that of gossip queen Wendy Williams.
Since deciding to keep a lid on their settlement in January, not much has been heard about either side of the divorce. Until now, that is. Jolie first decided to speak briefly about the split on the BBC - which was mostly an interview about her new documentary, First They Killed My Father about genocide in Cambodia. The premiere also happened to be the first time Jolie made a public appearance since the split, and she did it accompanied by all six of her children. Needless to say, Wendy was not here for it.
Just a few weeks ago she complained about Jolie's new beauty line and said she didn't like how she smells. Now, she's basically calling her a fake mother.
"What do you think?" Wendy says while clearing her voice. "Honest opinion? I think that it's selfish that her first public appearance after this divorce where she accused Brad of terrible things including [alleged abuse]," she said.
Wendy asserted that Jolie has "fallen from grace" following the investigation. She then disapproved of Jolie allegedly hiring a "spin doctor" to fix her public image.
"Angelina, I'm just thinking: if you're going to make your first public appearance, it shouldn't be on your own red carpet trotting your kids out, it's so obvious what you're trying to do. If you're the real deal mom, and if you really care about healing your family and your kids and stuff, you would have been out and we would've seen you walking out of JC Penny's with those kids or paying for a parking ticket... regular mom stuff! And then, out on the red carpet."
And Wendy didn't stop there. She had more to say about Angelina's statement on the BBC about her divorce to Brad. Watch in full below beginning at the 1:55 mark.
