Are children in Janet Jackson's future? After the pop icon abruptly postponed her European tour to focus on starting a family with her husband Wissam Al Mana, fans were left to speculate: is she already pregnant, or perhaps planning to become pregnant some time soon? Janet's wording seemed deliberately vague.
"My husband and I are planning our family," Jackson said in the video announcement to her fans. "I'm going to have to delay the tour. Please, if you could try and understand that it's important that I do this now... I have to rest up, doctor's orders. But I have not forgotten about you. I will continue the tour as soon as I possibly can."
New reports are claiming that Janet and her husband are planning to have children using a surrogate or adoption.
"Janet's health crisis this year really made her much more aware of her age," a source close to the singer told Rolling Out. "She is approaching 50 and at this stage of her life all that she wants is to become a mother."
"She is devoted to her husband and has decided to put his needs before her own needs right now," the source continued. "He really wants to start a family with her."
The best of luck to her, whatever she decides to do.
