DJ Khaled's Future Brother-In-Law Shot And Killed In The Bronx While Allegedly Buying Marijuana

“He’s a good guy,” said a friend. “He was in the wrong place at the wrong time."

The brother of DJ Khaled’s fiancée was fatally shot in the Bronx over the weekend. According to PIX11, he was killed while allegedly attempting to purchase marijuana.

Jonathan Tuck — the younger brother of Nicole Tuck— was shot in the face Sunday evening inside an apartment not far from Tuck’s home, the New York Daily News reported. There was reportedly an argument before the shooting, but it is unclear if the alleged marijuana purchase had anything to do with the altercation.

TMZ wrote, "Nicole Tuck's brother Jonathan was killed in a Bronx apartment Sunday during what the NYPD called a botched weed deal. However, sources close to the family tell us Jonathan was only at the apartment to watch the Super Bowl."

A 34-year-old man was reportedly brought into police for questioning. At this time, though, no arrests have been made.

Tuck, 25, has a 1-year-old daughter, friend Brandon Davis told the New York Daily News.

“He’s a good guy,” said Davis. “He was in the wrong place at the wrong time. There was no reason for him to be there.”

According to Davis, Tuck loved football and used to played defensive end for a local youth football team. The two were planning on watching the Super Bowl together, but Tuck never showed up.

“All I can think about is, I’m sitting here celebrating football and my friend is across town dying,” Davis said.

Khaled and Tuck’s sister had a son together in 2016. Khaled has not publicly responded to his future brother-in-law’s death.
