The family of a murdered Tennessee woman is looking for help identifying her killer, who she allegedly knew.

Aseal Iysheh, 24, was killed on June 11 at BJ’s Food Mart, a convenience store in Knoxville. She “was found deceased in the parking lot from multiple gunshots,” the Knoxville Police said in a Friday press release.

Investigators believe that Iysheh was shot while embroiled in an argument with a man she knew, Knox News reported in June. That man fled the scene after the shooting. A search of the surrounding area, including a search with a police dog, failed to yield and arrest and no suspect has been officially named.

“Though investigators are continuing to actively pursue all leads, there have been no arrests made in connection to the shooting,” police said Friday. “Investigators have reason to believe there were numerous witnesses to the shooting who have yet to come forward.”

Iysheh’s family has increased an award for information leading to the identity of the shooter, police stated Friday. A $10,000 award is available for anyone who can provide information that leads to killer’s arrest and conviction.

Back in late May, Iysheh told police she was assaulted at the very same convenience store by her boyfriend, the Knoxville News Sentinel reported in June. That boyfriend was arrested in early June and was in jail when Iysheh was murdered. Iysheh was scheduled to appear at an upcoming court hearing on a domestic assault charge she pressed against him.
