The “Shark Tank” judge known as “Mr. Wonderful” was involved in a fatal boat crash in Canada over the weekend.

The crash happened on Saturday night, not long before midnight, on Lake Joseph in Ontario after tow-boat crashed into the bow of a larger one. A man aboard the larger boat was killed while a woman on the smaller one was injured, according to TMZ.

Kevin O'Leary confirmed to TMZ that he was a passenger aboard the tow boat and his representative indicated that his wife Linda was driving it.

"Late Saturday night I was a passenger in a boat that had a tragic collision with another craft that had no navigation lights on and then fled the scene of the accident. I am fully cooperating with authorities," he told TMZ. "Out of respect for the families who have lost loved ones and to fully support the ongoing investigation, I feel it is inappropriate to make further comments at this time. My thoughts are with all the families affected."

His representatives told the outlet that Linda passed a DUI test that night. She is not the injured woman, who has been described 48-year-old from Markham, Ontario, My Muskoka Now in Ontario reports. The man who died was a 64-year-old from Florida, the outlet reports.

Investigators told the outlet it was too soon to say whether alcohol played a role in the crash. They said one of the boats was moving during the incident, but it isn't clear if both were.
