Father Of Young Boys On Missing Plane In Bermuda Triangle Speaks Out

“I lost what I loved more than anything. I keep hoping it’s not real and I’ll wake up. Wouldn’t wish this pain on the worst person in the world.”

A plane carrying a New York City event space designer, her two young sons and a New Hampshire pilot vanished in the Bermuda Triangle on Monday. Rescuers have been scouring hundreds of square miles of ocean looking for signs of the plane for four days now.

The father of the two young boys, aged 3 and 4, spoke out on Wednesday.

“I lost what I loved more than anything,” James Ramsey told the New York Daily News. “I keep hoping it’s not real and I’ll wake up. Wouldn’t wish this pain on the worst person in the world.”

Ramsey’s ex, Jennifer Blumin, and their two sons were traveling from Puerto Rico to Florida Monday when the twin-engine turboprop aircraft vanished from radar. Blumin, 40, is founder and CEO of Skylight Group, which provides event space around New York City, particularly in the fashion industry. Also aboard the plane was 52-year-old Nathan Ulrich of Lee, New Hampshire. Ulrich was a Coast Guard Auxiliarist out of Air Station Cape Cod from 2005 to 2014. He is the ex-husband of actress Rae Dawn Chong, known for her roles in "The Color Purple" and "Commando.”

The Coast Guard released a photo of debris on Wednesday, believed to match the MU-2B model that Ulrich was piloting. According to the Daily News, The Coast Guard also recovered two plane seats but no bodies or survivors have been found. Efforts are still being concentrated on finding survivors according to Newsday.
