Actress Mischa Barton is threatening legal action after it was reported that a sex tape being shopped to pornography companies, People reported.

“It has been reported that naked or sexually explicit images of Ms. Barton are being ‘shopped around,’” said Lisa Bloom, Barton’s attorney. “Ms. Barton does not consent to any disclosure of any such images. She believes that she was recorded without her consent by someone she was seeing at the time.”

“There’s a name for this disgusting conduct: revenge pornography,” Bloom said. “Revenge pornography is a form of sexual assault, and it is also a crime and a civil wrong in California. And we will not stand for it.”

A broker told The Daily Mail that the sex tape features the actress having sex with an unidentified man while wearing a black hoodie, and that the tape has an asking price of $500,000.

Bloom told People that the distributors of this sex tape could be the subject of both a lawsuit and a criminal case.
