Woman Beats Up Rapist With A Crowbar
"I bet he won't break into nobody else's house," said the woman he tried to attack.
One Chicago woman turned the tables on her rapist, beating him unconscious before cops could arrest him. 58-year-old Angela Ferguson awoke at 6:30 last Monday morning when an intruder burst into her bedroom and pulled her hair, demanding oral sex. She was shocked to see it was her longtime neighbor, Dorval Grice, 30, who she had known since he was a boy. When she refused, he began to hit her and started a vicious sexual assault, however, Angie wasn’t about to submit to her attacker.
Taught to box by her parents, Angie fought back, first hitting Grive with a beer stein on a nearby table, and then pounding him on the head with a crowbar she kept in her bedroom for security. “When I kept hitting him, hitting him, he wouldn't give up,” she told Fox 32 news, “I kept beating him, and seen blood everywhere. They say he had to have three surgeries on his head.”
After knocking him unconscious, Ferguson ran outside and called 911. However, it would take three different calls to get police to respond, even though the police stations is just a block and a half away. Grice was charged with home invasion and aggravated criminal sexual assault and is being held on $250,000 bail. Reflecting on the ordeal, Ferguson said, “I bet he won't break into nobody else's house.”
