Meet Lisa Ann Walter


executive producer/concept by/judgeLisa Ann Walter is the executive producer and returning judge of the second season of Oxygen's hit dance/weight loss competition series "Dance Your Ass Off" which is based on her concept. Walter can currently be seen co-starring as "Olivia" opposite Ashton Kutcher and Katherine Heigl in the action comedy "Killers." She is known for her stand-out performances in feature films such as Chessy in "The Parent Trap" and Bobbie ("Quit looking at my ass!") in "Shall We Dance" opposite Richard Gere. She enjoyed working with Jim Carrey and Jennifer Aniston in "Bruce Almighty" as well as Tom Cruise in Steven Spielberg's "War of the Worlds." Walter graduated from The Catholic University of America with a B.F.A. in classical theater and acted in repertory, regional and Off-Broadway theater before continuing her career as a nationally touring stand-up comic. Her comedic voice of a multi-tasking young Mom led to offers from Hollywood. She co-created, produced and starred in several sitcoms, including "My Wildest Dreams" and "Life's Work." Walter's independent feature career garnered four Film Festival Best Actress awards for playing the title character in "The Trouble With Dee Dee" co-starring Kurtwood Smith. Walter Executive Produced and appeared in the "All-Chick Stand-up Extravagana The Naughty Show" and co-created, produced and directed the original stunting series "Gonzo Girlz" (Tantamount/Lionsgate). Walter donates her writing, performing, auctioneering and hostessing abilities to such high-profile charity performance events such as "What A Pair" - an evening of female duets benefiting the John Wayne Cancer Institute's Breast Cancer Research. She also enjoys gourmet cooking, all forms of dancing and heated trivia contests with her mother while watching "Jeopardy."
