It's here! It's here! The premiere of "The Face" is happening tonight at 9/8c. While we've already given you ten reasons you must tune in tonight, we figure we'll help you out with a little guest star primer, too. First up: Legendary photographer Patrick Demarchelier, who plays a major role in the first big team challenge.
Why you should know him: The Parisian-bred fashion photographer has shot iconic covers and spreads for (American, British, and Paris) Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Elle, Rolling Stone, Life and Newsweek. He's also photographed campaigns for Christian Dior, Louis Vuitton, Celine, Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent Calvin Klein and Ralph Lauren. He's worked with the most major of major supermodels, from Brooke Shields to Naomi and her crew (Cindy, Linda and Christy). In 1989, after seeing his work in Vogue, Princess Diana asked him to take pics of the then little Wills and Harry.
Where you may have seen him: He was referenced in the fashion classic, "The Devil Wears Prada" during a Vogue Runway magazine scene, plus he made a cameo shooting a faux Vogue cover in the "Sex and the City" movie. Oh and at "The Face" premiere party!
