Famed TV psychic Miss Cleo is dead. TMZ reports that the iconic psychic, known for her animated late-night commercials in the '90s, has died at 53.
Fans of Cleo remember her Jamaican accent, her sassy advice, and that trademark catchphrase: "Call me now!" She worked with the call-in hotline Psychic Readers Network from 1997 to 2003.
She was actually born in Los Angeles and the accent was just a part of the act.
A rep for Miss Cleo -- real name was Youree Harris -- confirmed that she died this morning in Palm Beach, Florida. She had been diagnosed with colon cancer but it spread to her liver and lungs. The rep tells TMZ that she remained a "pillar of strength" during her illness and died with family and friends nearby.
