Kylie Jenner Is Under Fire For Posting This On Instagram After Her Sister's Robbery
People are calling it insensitive.
The most surprising news of the week has to be the Kim Kardashian robbery; the reality star was robbed at gunpoint in her Paris hotel room on Sunday night, and the masked men made off with millions. Kim was left unharmed, and after giving a statement to local police and jetting back to the east coast, has yet to comment on what happened.
Perhaps even more surprising is that the entire Kardashian family has been completely mum on the subject, not posting a single thing about it on any of their social media platforms - in fact, they haven't been posting anything at all.
Until yesterday, that is. Kylie Jenner finally broke the silence, but she didn't do it with a somber statement of support for big sis Kim; instead, she posted a butt-baring shot of herself rocking a red swimsuit on the beach. She captioned the pic, "Looking back at Turks."
US magazine reports that the pic was most likely taken during her birthday trip to the Caribbean back in August.
"She doesn't even care about Kim," one commenter wrote.
"Nice thoughtful picture given that your sister has just been held at gunpoint," another wrote.
But let's not all jump to assume that Kylie is being self-centered. This radio silence definitely goes against the family brand, but maybe they've all agreed not to talk about it publicly until Kim decides she's ready? It looks like we'll just have to wait and see.
