Stephen Colbert Got Booted From The RNC For Turning It Into 'The Hunger Games'
The National Republican Convention wasn't pleased, but it was hilarious.
The Republican National Convention has commenced, and even though it promises to be a ludicrous circus no matter what, lots of people still want to try and make fun of it as much as possible. One of those people is Stephen Colbert.
Dressed as reality TV host (if that’s what it’s still called in a dystopian society) Caesar Flickerman from the Hunger Games, Colbert took the stage when everyone’s backs were turned. Eventually he was approached by a guard who wrestled the mic from him, but not before he managed to get a burn on the GOP nominee, saying: “Look, I know I’m not supposed to be up here, but let's be honest, neither is Donald Trump.”
Of course, some people are saying the entire thing is staged-- even the guard. I guess we’ll see what's what on the Late Show this week. Meanwhile, Colbert appears to be having a blast as the games begin:
