Oh, Trumpy Trumpington. Just four days away from taking his official oath, the President-elect still has so much to learn--including a lesson on his favorite social media platform, Twitter.
Yesterday - in between making insane comments about one of America's most celebrated civil rights heroes - he also made time to celebrate his daughter, Ivanka.
In what appears to be a manual re-tweeting, Trump wrote "Ivanka is great, a woman with real character and class."
But the @Ivanka mentioned isn't his daughter Ivanka Trump, but Ivanka Majic, a writer from the UK. Of course, this wouldn't be a big deal for any other 70-year-old, but when you're the President-elect of one of the most influential countries in the world, it's kind of a big deal that you're tweeting something about a stranger rather than your own daughter.
Given the high profile name, Majic took the opportunity to send her own very pointed message to Trump. She literally burned the President-elect of the United States with one tweet. It's glorious.
"And you're a man with great responsibilities," she tweeted. "May I suggest more care on Twitter and more time learning about #climatechange." She then added a very helpful chart to make her point sound:
While most await Trump's response, I'm pretty sold on the fact that he may be frantically calling his daughter, confused as to why she publicly embarrassed him. Someone give this man a social media assistant, please! On Friday his tweets hold the power to launch a nuke.
PS: his original tweet is still up. He needs more people.
