You Can Now Find A Date Based On Your Spotify Music Playlist
You're a little country, but bae is rock 'n' roll.
You may have met the person of your dreams. So, you swipe right only to find out that they have completely different--even awful-- taste in music. You're a devoted Beyhive but potential bae is down with the Rihanna Navy. How will you really and truly ever find love?
Dating app Bumble now lets users swipe based on your taste in music. According to Mashable, the dating app has teamed up with streaming service Spotify to reveal a potential date's musical preference before you match. As someone who's ended many, many dates over a guy's horrible taste in hip-hop (yeah, I'm judging you), this is a dream come true.
The new feature rolls out over the next few weeks. Once you connect your Spotify account to Bumble, potential matches will see your most listened-to artists. Don't worry if you secretly listen to Taylor Swift on the low. Since we all have some musical skeletons in our closet, you can choose to hide certain embarrassing songs from your history.
