“Accident, Suicide Or Murder” is back on Saturday, May 9, with a jaw-dropping sophomore season that unravels the truth behind mysterious deaths.
Each hour-long episode takes a deep dive into suspicious deaths that were initially suspected as accidents, suicides or murders. With the families fighting for justice and the detectives on the case determined to find the truth, motives will be exposed and justice will be served, as the families finally find out what caused the death of their loved ones.
The premiere episode discusses the case of Ellen Greenberg, who was found dead in her locked apartment with over 20 stab wounds. But with no signs of an intruder or a struggle, detectives search for evidence and dig into Ellen's mental health to determine her cause of death. Months after a finding of homicide, a medical examiner stunned family members with a rare reversal, launching her parents into their own investigation to fight for justice for Ellen.
Coming Up This Season
From twin sisters with a violent past whose relationship is questioned when one sister is found dead in a car wreck in Maui, to the wife of an adulterous cop found mysteriously deceased, “Accident, Suicide Or Murder” retraces investigations from start to finish, taking viewers through the twists and turns of these shocking cases. Investigators dissect the red flags, uncover undeniable evidence and strange behavior that put the tragedy in question. Viewers will hear from first responders, law enforcement, family members and those closest to the victims.
In the search for truth, not all cases end with the same determination — and many end with controversial decisions. Many cases also go on for months, years or even decades. But, with advances in technology, additional witnesses, exhumations and newly discovered evidence, law enforcement are able to bring closure to the victims' surviving family and friends.
“Accident, Suicide or Murder” season two premieres Saturday, May 9 at 6/5c on Oxygen.
