Awww, we had to say bye to Stephanie tonight. The sweet, even-keeled one! Nooo! She was eliminated in a decoy bid...not to mention she is much smaller than the rest of the girls. But these days, she's movin' on up. Scroll down for her full exit interview and read all about her feelings about being eliminated, about caring for her sick uncle, and about life after Battle.
How did you feel about getting voted off?
I can't lie I was hurt, nobody likes the feeling of being voted off. The elimination process is brutal and exhausting, it started weighing down on me every week. I was one of the smaller girls of the bunch, so I had to go super hard and keep focused. I was upset, but I knew there was nothing I could do once my team put me up. My uncle was sick back at home and I was worried about him a lot of the time.
I think my team panicked and thought I would be safe from elimination, and that they were over Elease. The other team kept Elease because they had an alliance despite the beef. I was mad but I understand it's a game and it just wasn't my time.
If you could have stayed on board – what could you have contributed to the competition?
Fun. I'm a free spirited bad girl. On my season I was in it for the fun and on All Star Battle I was in it for the fun of playing the game. I have fun in everything that I do. But I do think if I wasn't so stressed over my future and my uncle, I could have gone far.
Would you have done anything differently this season, if you could go back?
I think I would have been more emotionally disconnected when it came to the elimination process. I was really conflicted when it came to sending the girls home, I used to have nightmares the night after. You really have to go in there focused, and just think about you making it across that finish line. I also feel really bad about Paula going home as a decoy and putting up Andrea. That messed me internally for a while.
What’s next for you?
I'm going to continue to work as a model, work on some upcoming productions, travel and continue to have fun in everything that I do…I've come a long way from where I started…Who would have known that growing up could be so rewarding? Wait, who am I kidding I'm sure I'll always have a little bad in me for as long as I live. #vivalabadgirl
