6 Stars Who Wish Their Police Tapes Never Became Public

These videos are likely not the highlight of their careers.

Dash cams and body cams are becoming more commonplace which means that there is less left to the imagination when a celebrity is arrested. Here are six stars who probably wish their police tapes never saw the light of day.

1. Justin Bieber

In 2014, the pop singer and songwriter was pulled over after speeding through Miami Beach in a Lamborghini.

"Why the f--- are you doing this?" he yelled at the officer. 

"I ain't got no f---ing weapons, why do you have to search me,” Bieber yelled.

After his arrest, the pop star admitted to drinking, taking prescription medications and smoking marijuana according to NBC Miami.

2. Tiger Woods

Woods is known for being one of the most famous golfers of all time. On Memorial Day, he was arrested for a DUI. In the video, Woods admits to being on medication.

At one point in the video, he tells the police he had been driving from Los Angeles and going toward Orange County, suggesting that he believed he was in California. Woods was arrested after police found him asleep behind the wheel, his car pulled over on the side of the road near his home in Jupiter, Florida. His car had two flat tires, dents in his front and rear bumpers, and a broken taillight.

Police found no alcohol in his system, reported The Washington Post, but Woods was still charged with a DUI and improper parking. It was later revealed that he was on a mix of Xanax and Vicodin and it was announced he was checking into rehab on Tuesday.

3. Rip Torn

Elmore Rual Torn Jr. known as Rip Torn acted in films like Men In Black and Cross Creek. His won an Emmy for his role on the The Larry Sanders Show.  He was arrested in 2006 for a DUI after he hit a tractor trailer. In the video of his arrest, the actor is slurring and yelling.

“I’m going to send you all to jail,” he told the police.

He was charged with a second DUI in December 2008 and sentenced to probation in May of 2009. According to the Associated Press, he was so intoxicated in 2010 that he broke into a bank with a loaded gun, thinking it was his home.

4. Reese Witherspoon

The Legally Blonde actress threw a fit when her husband, Jim Toth, was pulled over and arrested for DUI in 2013. She refused to get back in the car after she was told to do so by a police officer. So, she was placed under arrest.

Witherspoon was belligerent and even pulled the “do you know who I am card.” She told the police that the arrest would be on national news. There is even an awkward conversation between her and her husband in the back of the cop car on the tape.

She got a disorderly conduct charge,to which she plead no contest and paid a $213 fine. 

5. David Cassidy

This singer and actor, known for his role on The Partridge Family, was given a long sobriety test in 2010 after being pulled over on a Florida turnpike. The incident which was caught on dash cam. It was one of the multiple driving while intoxicated charges that Cassidy has been arrested for. In this case, he blew a .141 blood alcohol content during a breathalyzer test.

The police officer even berates Cassidy’s choice of cologne.

6. Adrien Broner

Broner is a professional boxer and a former four-weight world champion. In 2015, he was arrested on suspicion of a DUI.

"I'm blessed," he told the cop from the back of the police car. "I'm a multimillionaire."

He told the police officer that he fights all over the world.

The cop tells the fighter at one point, “Obviously, if I would have wanted to be a jerk, I could have been a lot meaner about everything."

"That's fine," Broner said. "You could have shot me with my hands up."
