It's already snowing in Colorado, but not everyone is in the mood to play in it. A 55-year-old man in Aurora, Colorado is currently sitting in the county jail after allegedly pointing a loaded gun at children who were throwing snowballs at his van.
Richard Nam told police that he was sleeping in his vehicle when a group of children began to throw snow at his van, KDVR reports. He said he was scared and so leaned out of his window to wave his gun around but claims that the muzzle was always pointed upwards.
According to the children's side of the story though, Nam actually did pull the trigger but the gun failed to go off. When Nam later showed his .38 revolver to police, four out of five chambers had bullets in them, with Nam stating that he always keeps the first chamber empty.
Witnesses to the incident confirmed the children's version of events, and Nam is currently being held on suspicion of felony menacing, reckless endangerment, and child abuse.
