A bar manager has been arrested for serving special drinks laced with drugs.
As the New York Post shares, Justyna Gorska of London has been incarcerated for 28 months for serving guests cocaine whenever they ordered a certain cocktail at Dion Bar.
The 34-year-old bar manager was accused of serving these "special" drinks between June 20 and August 16 on six different occasions. The way she would make these transactions involved the bar menu. On one occasion, the bar manager supplied two wraps of cocaine, charging $66 per wrap, as she served customers drinks. She would bring them a menu and then instructed them to place their money inside the menu. She would then remove the menu and returned with the drugs.
She repeated this at least five more times.
“We know the vast majority of licensed premises within the Square Mile are owned and operated by fully law-abiding staff and management who have close relationships with our City of London Police licensing team," said Detective Constable Brendan Kennedy from the City of London Police. “Gorska however clearly believed that the rules did not apply to her, and her sentence is proof that our dedicated Major Crime Team will identify any such offenders and we will use a range of tactics to stop them and bring them to justice."
Gorska was arrested and officers found a single wrap of cocaine concealed in her bra. She handed over the drugs. She admitted to her crimes, saying she was not a drug dealer but merely that the drugs were supplied to her by a friend.
