After a Pennsylvania man had a dream that his wife cheated on him, he turned into a real-life nightmare and allegedly tried to kill her, local papers reported.

Conrad Rudalavage, 49, was charged with attempted murder after he woke up, slapped his wife, and tried to strangle her.

“It ends here,” he said, according to a criminal complaint, reported NBC10. “I am going to kill you. I loved you. Now I am going to kill you.”

Rudalavage’s wife fought him and ran out to her truck. Allegedly, he caught her and dragged her back, biting her arm in the process.

The pair’s 17-year-old daughter arrived home with a friend during this attack and tried to call 911—but was stopped when her father allegedly choked her and twisted her arm to keep her from completing the call.

The teen ran to her neighbor’s house. The separated Rudalavage from his wife and contacted police. Authorities caught him after a brief chase.

Police said that Rudalavage smelled of alcohol at the time of his arrest.

His wife is recovering from bruises and other injuries related to the assault.
