A 17-year-old was sexually assaulted after a Facebook hook-up went wrong. The Phoenix teen showed up for the date and was allegedly attacked by the man's roommate.
According to ABC 15, authorities were contacted on May 25 about the sexual assault incident. The teen told police that her date showed up with two other men. One of those men was the suspect, 24-year-old Joshua James Kuhn.
The victim claims that she was forced to go to a back room and lay on the bed. Kuhn grabbed a "large red machete from the wall" and threatened her. When she tried to fight back with a pocket knife, the suspect pressed it against her throat while sexually assaulting her.
The teen contacted the police. Kuhn allegedly admitted to consensual sex and said that the teen lied that she was 18 years old.
Kuhn was charged with sexual assault, sexual conduct with a minor, and kidnapping.
