New details are emerging in the sexual assault against a 15-year-old girl that was streamed on Facebook Live. According to CBS Chicago, the Chicago girl was threatened by her assailants with a dog attack if she did not cooperate with them. According to the prosecutor, one suspect, who is 14 years old, held down the victim’s legs and told her that she could “have sex the easy way or the hard way.”

These new allegations came to light on Tuesday during the second suspect's (who is 15 years old) hearing. He faces charges of aggravated criminal sexual assault, three counts of manufacturing child pornography, and three counts of dissemination of child pornography.

The prosecutor believes that the two boys met the teen victim in a park on March 19. They lured her to a house where they sexually assaulted her in the basement while others recorded the video to be streamed on Facebook Live. Police are working to find these other participants in the crime.

As reported earlier by the Associated Press, it was the girl's mother who helped the police in opening the case. Her daughter's friends sent her screenshots from the livestream and she gave them to authorities. At the time, department spokesman Anthony Guglielmi told the Associated Press that the attack involved five or six individuals and that the victim knows at least one of her attackers.
