An Instagram model with over 79 thousand followers was arrested in the nude after causing a disturbance and kicking a police officer at a hotel in Clearwater, Florida. Brissa Dominguez-Garcia was asked to leave the Edge Hotel by its night manger on the morning of July 5, according to Tampa Bay ABC affiliate WFTS. A police affidavit says that when officers arrived to investigate the incident at 4 in the morning, they “found the defendant to be nude.”

Earlier on July 4th, the Mexican national who currently lives in Northern California had posted pictures of herself in a red, white and blue swimsuit with “USA” across its chest. “Happy #4thofjuly Everyone, Be safe out there and have lots of fun :),” bore the message on her sexy Instagram pic. Somewhere in the night and into the morning of the 5th though things went south.

Dominguez-Garcia was asked to leave the property but refused. When police found the belligerent beauty in the nude, one officer handed her a towel with which to cover herself. Instead, she whipped him in the face with it. As she was being cuffed, she “mule kicked” an officer, and later kicked two other officers. She also tried to bite another officer and spit at him, according to the police report.

Police believe Dominguez-Garcia was under the influence of alcohol at the time of her arrest. According to the Tampa Bay Times, there was another complaint of a man wandering around the hotel drunk and naked at the same time, though its unclear if the two incidents are related. Dominguez-Garcia was charged with trespassing, battery on a law enforcement officer and resisting an officer with violence. If there’s a upside to the incident, the model’s Instagram account gained 9,000 followers since her story went national.
